The Blue Hearts symbolise trust, harmony, peace and loyalty. The Purple Hearts represent compassionate and understanding love.

Orange is the colour of the Sacral Chakra (under a belly button), the seat of joy, pleasure and creativity. Orange is often associated with warmth, fire and setting sun, autumn leaves and pumpkins. It represents a change to a new season and transformation. Orange is a spiritual colour worn by holy men in India and Buddhist monks.

The different colours of the hearts symbolise the diversity of emotions I have expressed and healed in this 'Heart Healing' series. Many thanks to the 'magic circle' (Mandala) for providing a safe and comforting space.
