Let's extend the merry Christmas feeling
Christmas cards: 'Mandala - Baubles '
English Heritage says: 'Leave your Christmas decorations up until 2 February.' The reason is to follow the medieval tradition and to bring cheer to the winter time.
In Poland, where I was born, the Christmas tree and decorations are kept up until 2 February.
This opposes the theory that leaving decorations up beyond Twelfth Night is bad luck, which is what the modern British tradition advises.
I personally prefer to extend the merry Christmas feeling until 2 February if not for the duration of the entire winter.
Every year, I design a Christmas card.
As traditional baubles are mainly round or almond shape I usually paint a mandala-bauble. I then send it electronically with a Christmas and New Year's wishes.
Last Christmas I created three cards depicting the baubles.
And again inspiration has been kindly provided by the magical rainbow. For me the rainbow symbolises joy, hope and good luck. What does it mean to you? Are you feeling happier and more hopeful when you see the rainbow?
In the centre of these mandala - baubles I placed a pink dot, which conveys love and happiness. Does pink mean the same to you? Golden dots and lines mean abundance of time, money, friends, etc.
Would you like to have more time for your personal interests? How would you feel if you managed to enrol on the course you intended to do for a long time?
I hope all your dreams will come true in 2023!

I included three festive cards here to extend the happy Christmas feeling.
I hope good mood and joy will be with you in the winter months and always.
