'Good Communication Mandalas'

In 2020, I created this mandala.

As I was not entirely happy with it, I decided to cut it into pieces. I then spread the cuttings on two separate sheets of quality coloured paper.

I was playing around with the cuttings, repositioning them, and carefully attaching the 'bits' to the paper with the use of a prit stick.

The process was spontaneous and intuitive, and this the way I paint all my mandalas: I never do drafts or plan what I will be creating. And this method has never failed me.

And these are 'Communication Mandalas' that I made from the one

I dismantled.

I hope you like them as much as I do.

They are ornamental and at the same time simple. But the most important is that they convey a message, something I only noticed after looking at them intently for a few days. For me, they depict two people talking and relating to each other. The navy-blue softened by silver spirals shapes make perfect heads where mandala shape brains and noses as well as the flower lips reside. The conversation and relationship are truly attractive, filled with colourful flowers representing spring and celebration and hearts symbolising love and care. All is moving towards the attractive top: the arches and again the magic circles of infinity and wholeness. The background for this incredible warm exchange of words and feelings is delicate down to earth beige and a creative and happy orange.
